Conference Information

Please join us for The 9th International Symposium on Multispectral Colour Science and Application from May 30 to June 1, 2007. This meeting will to be hosted by Chinese Culture University in Taipei, Taiwan.

This symposium is intended to review the current state of the art and address major challenges and future directions in multispectral color science and application. Scientists and engineers from all over the world are invited to present the results of their research and to exchange knowledge, technology and ideas based on multispectral theory. Many aspects of multispectral image acquisition, processing and reproduction have been extensively researched and applied in such fields as museum digital archiving and medicine. It is expected to spark brighter ideas for the application of multispectral theory into the designs of LED light source, LCD display, digital camera and scanner etc. which are developed intensely in Taiwan. Future cooperation to realize the multispectral science and technology is unlimited.

The host, Chinese Culture University, has been active in color research. Taiwan has been active in Information Technology and Optoelectronic industry. Having the world's tallest building Taipei101 and famous National Palace Museum located in the city, Taipei will not only be the wonderful place for the Multispectral symposium but also a fun place to explore the multi-culture fusion. After the 3-day conference and 1-day tour, it shall be a colorful symposium.
